Larry Moss taught at the prestigious Julliard and Circle of the Square in New York. He later moved to the City of Los Angeles and founded the "Larry Moss Studio" at the Edgemar Center for the Arts in Santa Monica. Moss directed and developed "The Syringa Tree" (by Pamela Gien). This play ended up winning the following awards: OBIE Award for Best Play of 2001, The Drama Desk Awards for Outstanding Solo Performance and The Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Solo Performance.
Larry Moss has also directed the following films and plays: “Dos Corazones” - an award winning short film; “Lily Field” - A film by Pamela Gien; “RFK” - won a Drama League Award”; “How to Go On a Date in Queens "; “Who is Floyd Stern?” - off Broadway; “Beast of the Moon”; “Beggars in the House of Plenty”; “Runt of The Litter” - was voted one of the top ten plays of the year by the New York Daily Times; “Clint Holmes Live and On Time” - on Broadway and “Relative Insanity Sugar” - off Broadway. He also released a book in 2004 titled "The Intent to Live."
Larry Moss studied his award winning craft with Sanford Meisner, Warren Robertson and Stella Adler. He also started his performing career at the New York famous "Cabaret Upstairs at the Downstairs" and later appeared on Broadway in a variety of productions which includes: - Drat! The Cat! - By Joe Layton; So Long 174th Street - by Burt Shevelove; God's Favorite - by Neil Simon; The Robber Bridegroom - by Gerald Freedman and I love My Wife - By Gene Saks.
